Soph appeared recently with the Cleveland Orchestra under Ton Koopman in an all-Handel program at Severance Hall, with Symphony Orchestra Augusta for Bach’s B-minor Mass, as Jephte in Carissimmi’s Jephte with the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado, with Musica Sacra in Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, as Uriel in Haydn’s Creation with Texas Choral Consort — named a 2014 Top 10 performance by the Austin Chronicle, and at Musica Sacra Festival Maastricht, The Netherlands, performing works of Brumel and Josquin with Cut Circle.

Soph holds degrees from the University of North Texas and Yale School of Music where he studied with renowned tenor James Taylor at Yale’s Institute of Sacred Music.
